Applications Open for Multiplayer Fellowship Fully Onchain Gaming Cohort

The gaming industry is going through a difficult time, consolidating and restructuring. We think this is the perfect time for bold swings and experimentation. While big studios are forced to play defense to protect their prime IP, startups can take risks and explore new possibilities.
Fully onchain games represent the bleeding edge of gaming innovation, and have the best chance to unlock the full potential web3 technologies offer to the industry. Yes, the infrastructure is raw, and gameplay has a lot of room to improve, but it’s the FOCG builders that are working to realize the vision of the autonomous world games.
Sanctor Capital and Press Start Capital are ready to support these daring entrepreneurs, as part of this new cohort. Multiplayer Fellowship is an 8-week pre-accelerator, and offers talented founders $50K SAFE/SAFT investment, mentorship from top minds in the industry and a supportive environment of like-minded entrepreneurs. The program does NOT charge founders an upfront program or advisory fee, and offers additional benefits like free US company incorporation.
Hyper early stage founders face many obstacles trying to navigate the “valley of death” that exists between hackathon stage ideation and acceptance into a leading accelerator program. The Multiplayer Fellowship has been designed to help startups overcome these challenges, and create foundations for successful businesses.
Press Start Capital is a pre-seed Web3 venture fund founded by builders with exits. Their partners pioneered the pre-accelerator approach during the deep bear market of 2022, writing first checks to several cohorts of talented builders. Half of the graduates went on to raise and/or join top accelerator programs including Alliance DAO, a16z Crypto Startup School & SPEEDRUN, Binance Labs, and Y Combinator.
Sanctor Capital of course have been focused on backing missionary founders since our inception in 2021. The Turbo program has seen more than half of its graduates launch successful products, with one company being acquired by eBay, while we have backed 60+ early stage teams through our venture arm.
The applications for the FOCG cohort are now open, and will be reviewed on the rolling bases. We know how frustrating and disappointing it can be to send in an application and then get ghosted, so we commit to sending back personalized feedback to each applicant.
